Well, I don’t know for sure ofcourse but what I know is that a sculptor works with electric tools that drill pieces of stone or wood away with a drill instead of with a chisel and a hammer, maybe not all but most of them do as it is so much better for their wrists. It is not about being old fashioned, it is about not knowing sculptors who work like that. I used to be part of an art group and there were all sorts of artists, painters, sculptors, photographers, people using pen and ink to make small drawings, people making ceramics or junk art……
This is amazing art !! That lady must have the patience of an angel and the heart of an artist !!

She must have such steady hands! How can you precisely clip something so brittle?

I think she uses a tiny electric drill but even then it must be difficult to do.

I never thought of that! Here I am, so old fashioned, trying to imagine someone with a steel pick…

How very very cool. There is an Art Alliance in my town — maybe it’s time I check into it and see what they are up to!
