They do all sorts of flying patterns, depends on the sort of bird. There is even one bird that can stay in the air for 10 MONTH’S !! without landing for eating, drinking or mating, it is one of the swifts, but I don’t know the English name for it. Latin name is apus apus and it is a relative of the kolibri.
