That is actually the only Chagall I’ve seen. I think of stained glass when I think of his work, although he was fully into painting too. A refreshing take on centuries-old glasswork!
*nods* I find I sometimes have that problem with other widely spread artists — it’s hard to pick one style, one focus, when they are in 10 different “arts” at a time.
The window at the Art Institute is so beautiful. I haven’t seen it in awhile, but it’s not something that’s easily forgotten.

You’re right, I always think of stained glass as well, but I’ve seen in work in books and know he’s a painter. LOL I guess it’s because of the window.
